Season Greetings!

Christmas!  Ah, it's such a busy time!  I'm beginning to get into it a lot more now that my Grandkids need some cool things!  I must add here that I'm learning a lot from the new "toys" that kids get today; it's amazing the games that can be played on the computer!

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!  I trust that you've all marked your calendars to attend our annual Christmas Drama and Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service.

Attending a Christmas Eve service promises to put your Christmas in the correct perspective…good music, the Christmas story, a celebration of the Lord's Supper and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus in a sanctuary illuminated by candlelight all set the stage for Christmas day!

A story is told about a woman who saw three men in her yard.  She asked who they were and they replied, "Wealth, Success and Love."  She invited them into her home but they replied she could only invite one of them.  After discussing this with her family they decided to invite Love.  As he entered the home, Success and Wealth followed.  She said, "I thought I could only invite one."  They replied, "If you had invited Success or Wealth, the other two wouldn't have come but since you invited Love you get Success and Wealth.  Love never travels alone!"  Please remember that this coming New Year!

I'll see you all each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church!  By the way, it's THE CHURCH THAT LOVES!

I'm looking forward to serving our Lord with you in 2010!

Pastor Ken
