WOW(Women of Woodlawn)

Hello, Ladies!  In lieu of our regular meeting WOW will be having a Christmas Party at Mimms Restaurant in Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14th.  All ladies of Woodlawn are cordially invited to attend.  If attending, please bring a gift wrapped Christmas ornament as an exchange gift. 

The WOW spaghetti dinner was a success.  Thank you to everyone who joined us for a time of food and fellowship.

Have you recently noticed sunflowers around church?  WOW decided that we are going to be like sunflowers this year.  We are going to always keep our faces and our eyes on the Son and follow Him.  At night we will rest and rejuvenate ourselves and awake the next morning looking to the east always awaiting His return.  We have determined this year to be encouragers of women and in order to do that; we need to keep our eyes and our focus on Him!

On January 17th after Morning Worship WOW will once again sponsor a Chili Cook-Off.  We invite everyone to participate in this annual event but if you can't participate, please plan to join us for a wide variety of chili selections.  This is always a fun time to share a meal with our church family.

WOW is committed to serve the women of our church and we would like to see YOU involved.  We are enlarging our encouragement circle and are asking each WOW member who attends a meeting to bring a small gift for a woman UNDER $5.00.  We will be making gift bags to encourage some of the ladies in our church who are going through tough times.

Remember – we need YOU to be a part of WOW.  Join us on the 2nd Monday of each month for our regularly scheduled meeting and be sure to watch the Sunday bulletin for special events planned by WOW throughout the year.
