Pastor Ken
What a great church I am privileged to be part of! God is so good to me! More and more I realize how precious and important each of you are as you find, follow and finish God's plan for your life. I truly couldn't do the things I need to do without your help. I thank you - especially those of you who get us ready for worship, direct our ministries, volunteer your time, talent and treasure and make everyday a success at WBC! I'm proud to be your pastor!

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 Our Benevolence Committee is blessed every month with donations. We continually receive the help we need to feed our community in need. Again, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support.

So What!

When I heard the “So what!” by the inmate it took me a moment for me to realized just how Scriptural “So what!” is. He was referring to his problems and said, “So what, God is greater than all my problems.” It will become our simple conclusion when we draw closer to God. We all face problems in life but they are distraction in trusting God so we must learn to give them to Him so He can work His will for our life. When Paul and Silas were thrown in jail, they said, “So what” and kept preaching the word. When Lazarus died, Jesus said, “So what” as He had a greater plan to reveal. When Stephen knelt in front of his persecutors he said, “So what” and looked up to the Hope and home that he would soon be at, making known that the things that man can do to him was a “So what” matter.

From The Heart Of Carol

Carol Hendricks
The year of 2010 has come in like a lion…fierce and roaring…for our family; there has been job loss, sickness and now death. Yet I can lift my hands in praise because my hope is in the Lord and I know we're in the palm of His mighty hand and absolutely nothing happens without His knowledge! I honestly don't know how people who don't have a personal relationship with Jesus make it through the tough times! The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
