Prayer Ministry at Woodlawn encourages believers to diligently seek God's face
through prayer; trusting Him to strengthen and bless our personal lives and
ministry. Woodlawn Baptist Church is dedicated to prayer and provides
it's people many opportunities to participate in collective and special prayer.
Wednesday evening service is dedicated to a House of Prayer beginning
with a personal time of prayer at 5:30 p.m.. We begin the collective time of
prayer at 6:40 p.m. with a Prayer of Repentance, Praise and Prayer of
Adoration. We continue with Prayer for Urgent Needs and the Hill
of Hope for the Heavy Hearted. We offer up more Praise and finish our prayer
time with a Specific Prayer Focus and Prayer for Pastor Ken. There
is no way to describe or measure the blessings and impact God has had on our
church through this ministry of prayer. Check out our Worship
Service Schedule for the most current times and come out and join us. |

| Other Prayer Opportunities include: |
|
| United Prayer Time (U.P.T.) Pray one hour
before each service for that service specifically. |
|
| Let Us PRAY!
In W.W.II, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a
group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour
for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and
peace.
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here
in America. If you would like to participate, every evening at 9:00 P.M. Eastern
Standard Time, stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the
safety of the United States, its citizens, its men and women in the military,
and for peace in the world.
Thank You, and GOD Bless America |
